What this site keeps, and why

Robertson Production is one person, me, David Robertson, in Atlanta. This page says what the site collects when you visit or send your dates, and what I do with it. The short version: I use it to answer you and book the day, and for nothing else.

When you send your dates

The inquiry form asks for your name, company, email, phone, shoot dates, location, which day you are after, how you found me, and what you are shooting. Only your name, email, dates, and location are required. The form also records which page you sent it from, where you came from (a search engine, an ad, a referring site), and how long the form took to fill in, which helps me tell a real producer from a bot.

What you send goes two places: an email to me, and a record in the booking system I run the business from. I use it to reply, to quote the day, and to book it. I don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone except the services that carry it (the email service that delivers the message and the database that stores the record). If you email or call me instead, the same holds: your message is a normal business record and stays with me.

Analytics and ads

The site counts page views two ways. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Google Analytics tells me whether a visit came from search, an ad, a link, or an AI assistant. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser; Google's own policy at policies.google.com/privacy says what Google does with that, and Google's opt-out add-on switches it off.

I run a small Google Ads campaign for day-hire work. The Google Ads tag on this site records when a visit that started from one of those ads ends in a sent inquiry, so I can see whether the ads are worth running. It records the conversion, not who you are. If you reached the site from an ad, Google may also use its cookies to measure that.

Nothing on this site shows you advertising, and I don't use what the site collects to advertise to you later.

The Google app registered to this domain

Robertson Production has one application registered with Google, used for a single purpose: so my own assistant software can read my own Gmail mailbox and help me keep up with it. It signs in as me and reads my mail only. It doesn't collect, read, or store any other person's Google data, and it isn't something a visitor to this site can sign in to.

The app's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your copy of it, and changes

If you've sent an inquiry and want to see what I hold or have it deleted, email david@robertsonproduction.com or call or text 678-371-5715 and I'll take care of it. Booked work has to stay on the books for tax and insurance reasons, but the rest can go.

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to the same email.
